WHAT IF
WHAT IF was inspired by the heartbreaking real-life case of a young girl in Pakistan who left home to visit a neighborhood shop and never returned. Rather than recreating the tragedy, the film asks: What if someone had been there?
Through a fictional “What If” scenario, the film imagines an ending where timely intervention prevents an irreversible tragedy. Presented entirely in black and white, it focuses on emotion, silence, and the importance of child safety.
My hope is to remind audiences that awareness, responsibility, and one act of care can make all the difference.
