ADDICTION
In a world where the touch of a screen is as irresistible as the smoke of a cigarette, ‘ADDICTION’ invites us to reflect on the silent dependence that consumes our days. A poetic and disturbing short film that reveals how modern habits can be as powerful as the addictions of yesteryear.

Great comparison. Indeed, what a nice analysis to have here in the Zone. When enough people say out loud these kinds of important messages, people will begin to recognize their importance

Hello friend, the excessive use of cell phones nowadays, and their role as a symbol of pop culture, really gives us the impression that they are as harmful to our health as cigarettes were in the past.

You're right on point with that 👍

I remember those days. People smoking ciggies in public offices. doctors smoking in hospitals, ads promoting nicotine as the best way to start the day. You know the Marlboro guy? Riding towards the sunset on his horse with a fag in his mouth. Died of lung cancer.
As for mobiles - I love them personally. The greatest invention since PCs ;)

Exactly, my friend, but the critique of the short film isn't focused on the simple use of cell phones, but on their excessive use, especially by children, and how that can be harmful. I'm glad for your feedback.

Of course it is harmful in excess. And children shouldn't have access until they understand that this is not something to live your life in. Then when you mature it's your choice. But kids should first learn to build sand castles and fight with wooden swords... Or dress Barbie dolls.

That's absolutely right, you said it all in a few words.
