The short film opens with a slowly rotating carousel, a visual leitmotif representing the loop of a mother’s memories, returning again and again to November 18th, the day her illness took hold of her life. The narrative intertwines her current reality with fragments of a past that fades like chalk on a blackboard.
Her daughter, who used to be her “doll” and is now her primary caregiver, navigates the ups and downs of her mother’s memory with love and patience.
