THE OYSTER AND THE PEARL
Inspired by the work of Antonio Scuratti (M – The Son of the Century, 2018) and based on the research of Loraine Slomp Giron (The Shadows of Littorio: Fascism in Rio Grande do Sul, 2017), Le Ostriche Della Perla (The Pearl’s Oyster) aims to expose the relationship of Caxias do Sul, nicknamed the “Pearl of the Colonies,” with the Italian fascist regime at the beginning of the 20th century.
