Living in solitary grief, an elderly man named Arun is visited by the conscious holographic projection of his late wife, Meera. Struggling with amnesia, Arun slowly recovers his suppressed memories and discovers the tragic truth: decades earlier, during a catastrophic electrical anomaly, he activated an experimental quantum device to displace Meera into a temporal corridor to save her life—subsequently erasing his own memories to cope with the unbearable loss.
When Meera reveals that the device operates on a strict exchange equilibrium where one must take the other’s place, Arun willingly powers the machine in the present day. Choosing eternal companionship over loneliness, he leaves his earthly timeline behind and steps through the temporal rift to reunite with Meera overlooking a breathtaking futuristic civilization.
