Darinn, a middle school girl, falls victim to a criminal gang and loses her life. But death is only the beginning.
A mysterious Soul Hunter offers her a terrifying final test: to prove her courage and purity of spirit through a gruesome exam.
The exam requires sacrifices of blood, pain, and willpower, judged by a council of grim spirits. If she succeeds, Darinn will join the hunters as a new recruit in their eternal war against demons. If she fails, she will descend into rebirth as a beast of suffering.
Each test escalates in horror—culminating in a deadly confrontation with demons in hell itself.
