The anarchist community of Erebango was formed by Russian families originating from the region of present-day Ukraine in the early 20th century, who settled in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul, a region in southern Brazil.

Does this community still exist?
The community ended when its last member died. The descendants did not want to follow the precepts of past generations, and the social dynamic of this rural anarchism died out. In Erebango, some houses, objects in the municipal museum, and the tombstones of those mentioned in the documentary still exist.
