An experimental short that weaves the cutting of “nopales” with the myth of Cópil, whose torn-out heart gave birth to the first symbol of Mexico City / Tenochtitlan.
Through visceral imagery and whispered memory, the film meditates on inheritance, resilience, and the stubborn pulse of a city built on a heart that refused to stop beating.
