Young screenwriter Zhaiyk dreams of working for a big company. During an interview, the producer approves his portfolio but decides to tell a moral story about dangerous obsession. In this story, the hero meets a mysterious messenger in a theater mask who demands a perfect script for a great master. Zhaiyk starts an exhausting marathon, he stops sleeping and acts aggressively toward his loved ones. He suffers from hallucinations and illness, but his hunger for fame makes him work at his absolute limit. At the end of his journey, the character learns a shocking truth, because his mysterious client died in the first half of the twentieth century. Realizing his sacrifices were useless, the hero dies from shock. The real Zhaiyk finishes listening to the story and, with a scary smile, promises the producer that he will never lose control of himself.
