Living Paintings – Figures Of Ancient Greek Mythology
Directed by
KATERINA SIGALA
Living Paintings: Figures of Ancient Greek Mythology is a poetic and visually immersive film that brings five iconic figures of Ancient Greek mythology to life through an artistic cinematic language.
As humanity approaches the edge of collapse, five mythological figures—each carrying a unique story, identity, and symbolic power—are brought together by a shared purpose: to save humanity from its own destruction.
Through five distinct, interconnected stories, the film explores timeless human themes such as love, power, sacrifice, hope, and the eternal struggle between creation and destruction. Each character has a different journey, yet all are ultimately connected by the same question: Can humanity still be saved?
Blending mythology, poetry, visual art, and cinema, Living Paintings transforms the ancient into something deeply contemporary—inviting audiences to see these legendary figures not simply as characters from the past, but as reflections of humanity itself.
