In the 6th century, along the northern frontier of the Goguryeo Kingdom, Yeon Woo a young cavalry commander raised on horseback and encased in lamellar armor finds his sole sanctuary in the quiet village of Sanggisul Maeul. There, he meets Rin, a herbalist who views the world not with fear, but with profound warmth.
Beside the Baekhwa-won Stream, beneath the golden hour light, Yeon Woo holds Rin’s hands and confesses his endless longing to see her. Yet, this moment of warmth is fleeting. The smoke of fires and the thunder of war drums from the Army Camp summon Yeon Woo back to the frontlines. Amidst the clashing swords and galloping warhorses, Yeon Woo fights not merely for his kingdom, but to return to the place where the wildflowers bloom.
