Bedtime Blankie
Directed by
Prodromos Trochidis
After a long absence, a troubled young woman returns home to her mother, carrying physical and emotional wounds that neither of them knows how to confront. As an uneasy evening unfolds, old resentments, painful memories and buried truths begin to surface.
A mother tries to reach the daughter she once knew, while the daughter struggles with a past she cannot escape. Through memories, stories and moments of unexpected tenderness, The Bedtime Blankie explores the fragile relationship between a mother and daughter—and the possibility of forgiveness when it seems almost too late.
