A Faraway Place
Directed by
ABBAS GHADIRMOHSENI, Farshad Borzou
In a peaceful farm lives a fat and arrogant cow who believes the world revolves around him.
All the animals serve him, until one morning, suddenly, no one pays attention to him anymore.
Desperate to regain their attention, the cow decides to leave the farm and travel to “a faraway place,” following an imaginary map drawn on his own body.
Throughout this journey, he encounters hardship, loneliness, and a subtle sense of migration—both outward and inward.
Eventually, without realizing it, he returns to the same farm, no longer the vain and selfish cow he once was.
Along the way, he discovers humility, meaning, and a new understanding of what “home” truly means.
