COSMOS: a new animated space opera web series

We are creating a new, independent animated space opera web series about mental health, chosen family, and personal growth.

LOGLINE: At the outbreak of interplanetary civil war in a distant, alien galaxy, two friends search for their missing beloved before she ends her life.

PREMISE: In this space opera adventure drama set in a distant and alien galaxy, the Galactic Alliance military has overthrown their government in the name of eradicating corruption but with the design of chaos, with only the fractured loyalist forces to stand against them. The young folk hero, Edland “Eddie” the Hirado, and his best friend, Zachiel, are caught in the middle of this catastrophe as they search for their missing teammate: Eddie’s true love and Zachiel’s dear friend, Rajya.

But Rajya does not want to be saved. She is suffering from trauma and depression so terrible that she believes dying is the only way to escape her agony. One of the coup’s chief conspirators—Eddie’s nemesis, Dimonium—is building a mysterious machine that will end the Loyalist threat. She has captured Rajya and offers her a chance to explore their troubled pasts and, together, take back control over the forces that hurt them.

Travelling across the galaxy with time running out, can Zachiel, Eddie, and their allies combat the Military and save Rajya? And what must they learn about themselves to achieve such an impossible task?

PRODUCTION SCHEDULE *PILOT EPISODE*: Audio recording (music and voices) done in 2027. Full-sound animatic complete by May, 2028. Fully animated episode launched publicly in 2028 and ’29.
