In a distant future, an AI drone crosses a devastated Kazakh steppe carrying fragments of human memory. Through glitches, a boy, his grandmother Umai and her lullaby emerge. When ordered to destroy a fragile green sprout, the drone must choose between its programming and the preservation of life.
