That line from Field of Dreams is iconic — not because of baseball… but because we all want to believe in places that don’t exist yet. Places you build out of faith.
And like Field of Dreams… We built a field. Not in corn — but online, where artists wander unseen. Open Film Zone was built for them.
We didn’t build Open Film Zone to chase trends. We built it because filmmakers were tired of waiting. Waiting for permission. Waiting for someone to finally see them.
So instead of building another gate… we built a place where projects don’t get rejected. Where stories don’t sit in inboxes. Where creators don’t have to fit a mold to belong.
Just a screen. An open door. And the courage to upload.
Where the jury is the audience which decides the most critically valued works.
OFZ isn’t a content machine. It’s a gathering place. A field where anyone can step onto the grass and play.
To watch.
To vote.
To cultivate culture.
And this year, the story ends with a moment straight out of the movies.
It’s the Cinderella story.
On New Year’s Eve, one filmmaker becomes the first Visionary of OFZ — not chosen in secret, but chosen in public, by people who joined together.
Because sometimes,
just sometimes…
you build a field…
and it fills with dreamers.
This is your invitation.
Come and play.
Open Film Zone.
