Hi fellow film enthusiasts,

My name is Jan and I’m from the Czech Republic. I’m the same kind of film geek as the rest of you. As Alfred Hitchcock once said, “Film is life with the dull bits cut out.” I couldn’t agree more. Film should be fun first and foremost — both for the people who make it and for the people who watch it.

For most of my life I’ve worked as a professional creative: writing, coming up with stories, designing things, and occasionally being part of the filming process itself.

Thanks to how far technology has come these days, I’ve been able to jump into what might be called a slightly “suicidal” project — producing an animated series based on my own book, a humorous novel. And I’m doing it the classic independent creator way: trial and error.

That’s also why I’m here — to get feedback, inspiration, and the chance to share creative challenges with others who love filmmaking.
