ENGRAMMA
Caleb records a digital imprint of his consciousness — a formality before tomorrow’s trip to see his family. That night he meets Mei, a stranger smoking alone on a rooftop — the first of several warm, recurring nighttime encounters across the city. But Caleb never remembers the night before. The truth emerges slowly: he’s gone, and Mei keeps replaying his recorded consciousness, searching for whether what they had was real, or always fated to end the same way.
