In a society where the political system suppresses every human feeling and action, a raped and interned mother tries to raise her daughter amidst fear, denunciations and moral compromise. Meanwhile, a forbidden love is born between Marina and Anton. It is destroyed by the pressure of the system and the mother’s fear of harming her daughter.
