War in Ukraine through the Eyes of Europeans
The author’s documentary musical story, conceptualizing the events of the current Russian-Ukrainian war and its possible consequences; short meter, which will demonstrate to the world the range of opinions of ordinary Europeans who by the will of the Russian aggressor in position similar to the eve of World War III.
The conceptualization of the documentary is a combination of topical and poignant video chronicles; text interviews and music; including A Capella singing, which is characteristic of most traditional musical cultures of the world. Confucius wrote “The status of the nation and the moral health of the population are reflected in the music of this country”.
Original songs based on the poems of world-famous Ukrainian poets – Lina Kostenko, Lesya Ukrainka, Taras Shevchenko, Ivan Franko, Pavlo Tychyna, etc., and translated into English, will demonstrate to the whole world the unique image of the statehood of Ukraine and Ukrainians as a nation capable of stand to the end in the fierce struggle for democracy and freedom.
