Life with SMA
Directed by
Manne von M
Where the body reaches its limits, the mind can go further. If holding a book is difficult, it can be read on a computer or listened to as an audiobook. I have never fully grasped my reality, nor have I lived in constant sorrow because of it. More often, that burden belongs to a parent.
This is a story of a different kind of struggle — a struggle of the mind. A journey that soars beyond horizons many people, even without physical limitations, never reach. A life lived with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), where muscles may weaken, but dreams, curiosity, and the human spirit continue to move forward.
