Prompt to Food is a cyberpunk-biotech story about technology, bodily autonomy, and the politics of access. Its central question is simple: if society can program food and water, who should be allowed to decide who receives them?
After seven years without rain, humanity survives on programmable food and water controlled by a government system that requires digital accounts, forehead barcodes, or RFID implants. When unregistered people are denied access, young bio-architect Aira refuses to accept that nourishment should require permission. Using her independent Nutrigenesis laboratory, seed bank, offline bio-computer, and bioreactors, she creates Prompt to Food, an open biological system that turns human needs into nourishment and restores food access to everyone.
