Nowruz (Nowruz is the Iranian New Year) is near. The old man is busy doing things to welcome spring, but the old woman is desperate for life and keeps grumbling that she will die soon and why no one is with them and they are alone. But the old man says that they should live with hope as long as they are alive. One morning, when the old man was painting the fences of the porch, he had a stroke and died. Now the old woman has to decide whether to continue to live hopelessly or… she looks at the things in the house and the old man’s finished and unfinished works and decides to finish the old man’s unfinished works.
