In an abandoned and mysterious building, Sama, a 27-year-old woman, returns to her late father’s old film production office to collect his belongings. Among his possessions, she discovers a screenplay bearing her own name—a script that reveals unknown and unsettling aspects of her past.

As Sama reads the screenplay, she is drawn into a world of memories and painful truths about her father; truths rooted in love, guilt, paternal regret, and the disturbing shadows cast by his hidden inclinations. Meanwhile, the cold and empty atmosphere of the building, the presence of a mysterious shadow-like figure named Amirmasoud, and the revival of childhood memories lead her on a deeper search for answers about love, sin, and conscience.

Confronted with the truth, Sama realizes that in order to free herself from the past and her fears, she must write her own story. But the ultimate question remains: Does she have the courage to face all the shadows of her past?

“Read the Shadows!” is a journey into the depths of the human mind and conscience, where darkness and light are inseparably intertwined, and where even the smallest choices can alter the course of a life.
