Room 65

Directed by
Rakhaad Febrikha

In 1965 Indonesia, a young civil servant named Rahman arrives at a dusty government archive — a place filled with silence, secrets, and something that seems to remember him. Warned to avoid the sealed Room 65, he instead finds a red folder with his own arrest photo. As whispers grow and shadows stir, Rahman begins to realize: he is not just a visitor — but someone who has already been erased.

Room 65 is a psychological thriller created with the aid of artificial intelligence (script and visual development). Inspired by real historical events, the film explores bureaucratic silence, state violence, and the haunting cost of being deleted — not only from life, but from memory.
