OTHERWISE
A man rows across an ocean with no edges. A woman calls out from the fog: turn back, there is nothing there. He does not turn back. The sea takes his boat and gives him an island — vast broken worm eggs, graves that all read NOTHING, a ruined king with one answer. He walks past all of it, into the water, toward a ship.
