I Need Help
Themba is a man in his 30s who appears to be going through an ordinary life, but internally he is struggling with anxiety, isolation, fear and constant self-doubt.
His growing discomfort with social interaction gradually isolates him from the world around him. The more he struggles, the harder it becomes to explain what he is experiencing. Shame and the fear of being judged prevent him from reaching out.
Eventually, Themba is forced to confront what he has been carrying alone.
In a quiet but significant moment, he makes the decision to contact a psychologist.
When he finally says, “I need help,” the words represent more than an admission of struggle. They become his first step toward seeking support.
